In 1971 Patrick Pruitt was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He then moved and was raised in St. Peters, Missouri. He began his martial arts training and the itch to train in the martial arts, while taking Judo courses at his local middle school.  The desire to learn martial arts and all what they were about was sealed. When at the age of thirteen he began to study Tae Kwon Do under the guidance of Grand Master Won Kuk Kim, at Kim’s Academy of Tae Kwon Do in St. Peters. Under Grand Master Won Kuk Kim he received his first Black Belt and Instructor ranking. Patrick then began teaching at Kim's Academy of Tae Kwon Do. And then later under the guidance Supreme Grand Master Bok Man Kim www.chunkuhndo.com one of the original founders of Tae Kwon Do. He received the level of 2nd degree black belt in Practical Tae Kwon Do and 5th degree black belt and Instructor Certification in Chun Kuhn Do. Today, Patrick continues his studies and trains in the traditional martial art system of Tae Kwon Do, Jungyae Moosul and Chun Kuhn Do. As well as the MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) system as the Instructor of Jungyae Moosul of Missouri - Pruitt Martial Arts,LLC. Patrick is a true believer in the traditions of the martial arts and there history. In this day of ground and pound fighting we have forgotten what true traditional martial arts are all about. Martial Arts isn't about just the fighting, and who is the toughest kid on the block, it is a thought process, a way of thinking... "A way of Life"
